Final season ofThe Walking Pointlessfeatured varied original faces making the transition from web page to display as many characters from the comic e book arrived on the AMC TV adaptation. No longer completely did Magna, Yumiko, Luke, Connie, and Kelly compose their debuts as original allies, however iconic villains Alpha and Beta also made their presence known. Which received us interested bysubsequentseason. Who would per chance we meet when the stamp returns for season 10 in October? We asked showrunner Angela Kang, and he or she spilled the beans on one character who shall be making his TV debut in the season premiere.
“We’ll be meeting the character Dante from the comics,” unearths Kang exclusively to EW. “He’s that this prankish, fleet-speaking, in most cases charming, in most cases tense guy who can in most cases save his foot in his mouth, however is an spell binding presence in the comics.”
Certainly he is. In the comics, Dante is a staunch, hardworking member of the Hilltop crew. But he is also cocky and aggressive — especially in his pursuit of the widowed Maggie. “He’s truly a like interest of Maggie,” says Kang of his feature in the original source field subject. “But in our world, the context is a little different, and he’ll play a needed feature in the fable in Alexandria. So we’re interested by that.”
The truth that Lauren Cohan’s Maggie isno longer on the 2nd on the stampand that Kang mentions Dante will play a mighty feature in Alexandria and no longer the Hilltop reveals that there’ll definitely be changes to the character’s feature, if no longer his prankish personality.
As for whether there shall be any different comic e book favorites jumping to the TV adaptation in season 10, Kang performs extra coy. “There shall be some different characters we meet down the road,” says the showrunner, “however I don’t gain I can rather discuss about them yet. We’ll meet some truly frosty characters this year.”
And would per chance one of these characters be a Princess, by likelihood? “I don’t know,” laughs Kang. “But we terminate like royalty on our stamp.”
